Ending the War Against Terrorism Early, IMMEDIATELY- This Time America Really Strikes Back
That's right, America, after 9/11 we just had to do something! What we had to do is realize that it's a wide open world out there, there are a lot of Middle Easterners like those pilots (well, we know that's where they came from and World Trade Center I, also.) I had to realize that if somebody sailed a bomb into my living room I had to try to figure out why, why those "terrorists" were out to get me. Well, we had to do that internationally as well.
Let's get some definitions first. A "terrorist" is a person who commits an act to redress wrongs he perceives done to himself and others like him, that it pure and simple, check your dictionary. In 1776 we were patriots, England's "terrorists." At this time Israel's terrorists are Palestinian kids throwing rocks. The response to a terrorist act is either bullets or the negotiating table. There's even a limit to bullets, though. An Israeli tank probably responds to that particular pack of howling kids, does it again tomorrow, the Palestinians keep finding more and more rocks. However, I don't believe Israel gets to keep rolling down the streets going country to county shooting anyone who looks like he has a pitching arm, taking out governments, taking somebody else out tomorrow, getting heads of state "out."--practicing terrorism-using force in order to coerce LIKE WE PROPOSE TO DO! First Afghanistan, then Saddam, then --
America's potential terrorists are absolutely anyone in the entire Middle East who sees the way America practices terrorism. "Terrorism"--check your dictionary -- is the use of force in order to coerce. That's the way we act in the Middle East, the big neighborhood bully, in this little empire we think we've got. I slap sanctions wherever I want to, causing great misery, keep little lists of anti-American terrorists, even lists of countries harboring little terrorists. Actually they are their patriots, though, see how it works, trying their best to live their lives in their countries with this overriding American terrorism overlain.
So I thought about why those guys were ticked off at pore old me, pore old America, the one with great democratic ideals, the one with the lifestyle "they" all envy. I thought about maybe they were entitled to something I had not given them, I thought given the very definition of a "terrorist," someone trying to address wrongs being done to him. So I thought about those little Palestinian kids, those Israeli tanks. What the Palestinian kids are saying is they want human rights and dignity too amongst Israel's tanks and bullets the U.S. furnished. So I thought about that on an international scale, since I have tall buildings and many domestic airplanes, lots of pretty things to lose.
I thought about the way people treat each other in my neighborhood, how I would be addressing the situation if a bomb sailed into MY living room. I thought about basic human rights on an international scale, how decent people act toward one another--that's really big of me, isn't it? So I thought I would read the Constitution, the ones we were such patriots for in 1776, the one where it talks about rights everyone should have in America, should have in the world since it's all one big world, I see that now obviously. And I'm asking that they are applied by the State Department, DIPLOMATICALLY--not "Cough him up."-JESUS!-throughout the world.
I thought I'd read the Constitution that gives me such wonderful rights. I see where it says things like right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness-see that, Afghanistan kids? See where it talks about right to free thought, speech and expression-see that in those little cells the FBI is pawing through in 50-60 countries and through my email, in whole nations where they are not even entitled to an anti-American thought as I'm a citizen sitting in Iran and watch Iraqi kids starve, Afghans get pulverized. I see where it talks about law and order, proper procedures for arrest-like subpoenas, remember? I see where it talks about guilt by association-see that, bin Laden, mastermind of those pilots and a whole organization pissed off at America? No illegal searches and seizures-see that, you guys whose funds we felt we had the right to freeze and the UN actually let us? See where it says you can be punished only for acts you actually commit, not for what you believe, whomyou dislike-see that, bin Laden, even though we know you couldn't have done it on 9/11, all tucked up in your cave? Things like human rights and dignity everyone in the world should possess.
So what happens? We fight a war against terrorism-we're the ones practicing terrorism in the world and we're fighting it against ourselves and that's why we could recently barely get our mail pawed over for anthrax, why we're losing our jobs, our dignity, live in fear and terror with our kids afraid to go to school.
I ABSOLUTELY AM DEMANDING THAT AS AN AMERICAN PATRIOT, A PATRIOT OF THE WORLD, A DECENT HUMAN BEING WITH THE SAME RIGHTS AS EVERYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD. I'm ending this War on Terrorism. I am not going to be creating in Afghanistan any more guys out to get me when they scrape together funds to buy a ticket to New York City, creating more tterrorists coming back to get me each second we are there.
Americans, get it together, pick up a dictionary for heaven's sake. Pass this around, tell everybody you know, all your friends. Call your Congresspersons-they're listed under U.S. Government, Senate before we spend more money on strike missiles. Get a GET IT TOGETHER, AMERICA campaign going.
Think about this, fellow patriots. When Russia took her wall down everybody got their own country, own national pride, own diplomatic corps. It's still shattered from the experience of having this little empire but it's becoming better. The world became a better place, everyone stopped spending ridiculous amounts for defense, we had the longest economic expansion ever. We think we have a wall around this Middle Eastern empire but that's ridiculous. We MUST establish one-on-one diplomatic relations with those poverty stricken lands.
And just remember another thing. We had a little long Vietnam expreience where we left absolutely shattered countries-dead civilians, chemical weapons (Agent Orange), land mines, napalm, bombed even Laos and Cambodia (leaving the Khmer Rouge and the killing fields), people sinking on flimsy rafts, had great fun but George Bush did noit participate and then just got to walk out when we were so-o-o tired. This is the sort of stuff we can't do any more because "they"-those terrorists out to redress these types of wrongs-won't let us.
That's what America "just had to do" about 9/11--and she's going to do it now.
